Arts Week

Arts Week is a yearly event held by the Cal State Fullerton art department where students can participate and learn about the school's art programs. My work ended up being used as the final logo and branding for the event.

The Arts Week theme for 2023 was 90's video games with an emphasis on Nintendo. I went through many variations of logos to get to a clean simple bold type treatment with which I could easily animate in the style of the Gameboy Color logo animation. This brought nostalgia to a simple and effective logo and it was extremely versatile. The logo was printed on stickers, coasters, and t-shirts alongside that it was posted on social media to promote the event.
